I closed my own company.

Not because it was failing — because I didn't know what it was worth, or how to sell it.

So I shut the doors on something I'd spent years building, and walked away with a fraction of what it could have been. Then I did something about it: I went and learned the game from the inside and worked through four acquisitions, on the buyer's side of the table. I've seen exactly what makes a business sellable and what makes a buyer walk. This workshop is everything I wish someone had put in front of me before I made that decision.
